ACE is committed to providing volunteer assistants to other conservation organizations as well as educating public in areas where no turtle conservation exists.
ACE is also starting a marine monitoring program at Xpu Ha, Mexico. The program aims to be environmentally friendly and limit the usage of boats. Instead the battery operated EZ Snorkel apparatus will be used to transport the divers from the shore to the diving site where they will conduct the monitoring.

During the 2012 turtle season guillermo camarena was the tortuguerro overseeing the turtle monitoring at Half Moon Bay at Akumal as a CEA volunteer. In 2013 he was offered the position of tortuguerro by the none for profit organization Animo to be responsible for and help set up a turtle monitoring program at Xpu Ha Bay, Mexico.
